Julie Johnson Mastel is a born-again Christian who first learned about Jesus as a young child. At age 15, she committed her life to Him while attending a Young Life camp in northern Minnesota.
Driven by her love of writing and desire to encourage children, Julie began developing the Jesus Was With Me All Along series back in 2013 to remind young readers that Jesus is always with them, no matter what challenges they may face in life.
Julie currently works with adults in behavioral health. She and her husband, David, have three wonderful children and currently live in Minnesota.
